It’s our last Facebook Friday for the year!! And we have two groups featured today!
Our first group is At His Feet Ministries and is administered by Kristina Collins, Founder & Director of her ministry of the same name. Here’s the group description:
This group is for the arts! If you are a dance instructor, choreographer, dancer, artist, designer and you would like to network, advertise conferences, exchange advice and ideas, and get to know other artists, stay in fit condition in the journey God has you on… We welcome you to participate, and encourage each other. If you have art share it! A conference coming up… share it! Health tips… share it! We just want to expand the tent pegs!
A little about AHF: At His Feet Ministries is a non-profit 501-C3 organization founded by Kristina Collins. Rooted in the arts, AHF is a unique ministry geared towards creative outreach. Through music, dance, drama, art and teaching, AHF strives to train, equip and release the creative giftings of God into the hearts and lives of many.
A group available for us Artistic Christians to share what God is doing through Artists in the church! Previously Prophetic Art Canada, this group has grown far beyond the borders of just Canada, so the name of this group has been altered to reflect that!
We have created this group so we can all come together and share our best praise dances. Feel free to post any praise dance video groups. Please share any tips that will benefit for groups that are starting out. Those tips will be saved on this page for future reference.
Today I want to direct you to Tony Snipes who lives to “help creative people discover their purpose.” Sounds like a man after my own heart!! He offers many resources and ideas for artists and creatives.
Imaginare Performing Arts Ministry is a creative arts ministry based out of Puerto Rico and Florida that uses a combination of dance, acrobatics, aerial dance, and physical theater to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Anointed to impact this generation,” their performances are powerful and prophetic!
It’s another Facebook Friday here on Create-A-Day! Today’s group is called “Worship & Creative Arts.” I started the group several months ago as a way to connect with those who’ve I’ve met along this Create-A-Day journey of exploration! It’s another Facebook Friday! Let’s network together and make His praise glorious!
International Christian Dance Fellowship is an organization of Christian movers and dancers that exists to mobilize the movement arts in ministry and mission. It is an international networking and resource for people involved or interested in dance and movement expressing faith. Find out more at http://www.icdf.com/. They have two groups on Facebook:
“As long as you find yourself drawn closer to the Lord through the art you produce, you are doing what you are called to do.” ~ Trisha Stern (c) Trisha Stern
The topic of my next book is the artist on the healing journey and the artist as healer, so I was intrigued when I found a Christian Artist Feature on Trisha Stern on The Artistic Christian blog. After experiencing severe wounding trauma in her life, art became the way out of the depths of her grief and pain.
In the words of Trisha, “Art changed my life.” She has much more to say about the power of art!! I encourage you to read the whole feature here. It will inspire you!
Praise Dancers for God is a great place to network with other dancers and see what other folks are doing in the worship arts. People post links to workshops and seminars happening in the arts and dance! Another great place to network with like-minded worshipers!
This group is a community of prophetic artists for Jesus and those who want to see what Jesus is doing in the arts across the world. All arts that share God’s love and prophecy life are welcome here! It’s great to have a place to grow in your gifts to glorify God!
Prophetic art is born from the reality that we are created in God’s image and therefore, we are creators in His likeness. How do we create this way? Create from your core, not your eye. Ask Father God to tell you what and how to create, then follow His lead. Be alive with the revelation that you can change your community by offering art that is of heaven, not earthly skill only. People are transformed when they see art that reflects how much Father God loves them. Lets change the world one community at a time!
Today’s group is called Christian Artists and its group description reads as follows:
Christian artists, Christian dancers, Christian painters, Christian sculptors, Christian musicians, Christian singers, Christian actors, Christian writers and poets.
We are interested in networking and showcasing excellence in the arts for God’s glory.
It’s another Facebook Friday! Today’s group is simply called Worship Dance. It’s a great group where folks who love to worship through dance, movement and flags can network and share resources. The group is administered by good ole’ me! 🙂 The group description is short & sweet:
Christian dancers and creative worshipers from around the world!!
There are over 1,000 members and it’s growing every day!
Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
– Psalm 103:1
Let’s shake those shackles off our feet so we can dance!!
