CIndy Fort has the heart of both an artist and a counselor. Her website 12tribesministries.com has great resources that help you explore your creative side, as well as your heart, soul and spirit through the creative process. I will be posting more from 12 Tribes in future posts, but I wanted to point you towards an exploratory process with circles.
Circles are vital to many arts. For the fine artist, circles flow fluidly from the pen or brush. Circles are a part of dance and movement–whether you’re turning circles, circling your arms or walking in circles. Music comes full circle as it resolves on the root chord of the given key.
Perhaps you’re looking for a project to carry you through the doldrums of winter? See what you think here:
- Exploring Circles – post 1 – intro post
- Exploring Circles – post 2 – background & scripture
- Exploring Circles – post 3 – symbolism & scripture
- Exploring Circles – techniques post – tips & tricks
- Exploring Circles – post 4 – bringing focus & containment
- Exploring Circles – post 5 – a shield of protection
- Circle Love – inspiration work
I encourage you to explore, not just circles or the creative process, but to explore your heart. Who knows what you might find?
Blessings of ARTistry, CREATivity & BEaUty, Jody
